Tryst with Ibiza as a Wedding venue
Meera& Prashant desired a dream wedding in Balearic Island Ibiza, a beautiful city often referred to as the “paradise for party people”.
Planning began six months before “W-day”with a couple of recce visits,to search for support systems. Placeto prepare food,Suppliers for fresh produce likevegetables, meats and groceries.
The supply chain there waswanting, as there were no vendors who could provide groceries or vegetables for Indian cuisine. We had to work smarter in sourcing the ingredients. Our savior was the city of London and the delivery was brought via Barcelona on a cargo ship.
Mr. Shah himself sourced even the pots and pans used from Mumbai after making several visits there. They were shipped two months prior to the event and after the long journey at sea they arrived just at nick of time for the wedding.
Several kitchen spaces for our “production base” were identified and out of three we finally selected an industrial township, which was specially restructured and equipped for us. They even made way for our Tandoors by shifting their existing equipment.
Fond memories of a very helpful team commandeered by Chef.

Destination Wedding at Venice
(11th – 15th June, 2015)
Venice is one of the most important tourist destinations in the world for its celebrated art and architecture. It is regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful cities and is listed as “World’s Heritage Site”, along with its lagoon.
It is located in the marshy Venetian Lagoon, which stretches along the Adriatic sea shoreline, between the mouths of the PO and the Piave Rivers, to a group of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges.
It is also called as “City of Water”, “City of Masks”, “City of Bridges”, “The Floating City”, and “City of Canals”.
Comparing with other destination weddings done by us in different parts of Europe, this was by far the most challenging and nerve racking.
Each and every pellet that came from India, in the container carrying our equipment like tandoors, kadhais, patilla, dosa plates etc. were all brought to the island on a boat where it was offloaded by a fork lift (that too on a boat) to the Island of St.Clemente and newly built JW Marriot Hotel.
Our teams were split in two different hotels serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. Logistics were a nightmare as our staff was living in different hotels and had to catch water taxis at different hours of the day & night. Continue reading

Corporate Catering
Corporate catering is a great way to get high quality meals arranged for your clients, partners or employees without the hassle of visiting a restaurant.
Important clients need that extra special attention. And when it comes to food, you certainly want to get it right. For smaller meetings, taking your clients to a good restaurant works just fine. But if the groups are larger, like a board meeting or an entire delegation to attend to, having an in house dining arrangement turns out to be more appropriate.
A catering company can set up an entire meal right inside your office premises or at another suitable venue if the first option is not feasible. Caterers dealing in corporate accounts usually have their own value additions to bring in a high quality feel into the dining experience.
In addition to providing a customized look for an event, a corporate catering service can provide several food options suiting a wide range of taste preferences.
Corporate training is also suitable for in-house meetings, training or a casual office parties – like celebrating a birthday, an annual event or festival. This way you also give your staff a well deserved break from the daily grind.
All said and done, choosing the right caterer for the job can make a big difference to the success of an event. Therefore one must carefully choose a professional with a proven track record and possibly a good referral.
The Kitchen Art Company (TKAC) is a reputed and experienced catering company, which excels in providing professional catering services, with a flair for excellence. For over a decade, it has been serving to its clients, delectable culinary experiences, and winning many accolades along the way.
